A Board Meeting was held at the Bus Barn in the Jarvis complex at 6pm. Below are a few items that were discussed.
2017 Fair Manager - Tawnia Butorac
Exhibit Hall Manager - Deb Snyder
Barn Manager - Vel Wager
Music Festival Manager - Ellen Clark
Parade Manager - Angie Coon
Beer Tent Manager - Dean Bean
There is serious discussion of a rodeo at this years fair. The Board is awaiting quotes and will make a decision at the up coming meeting.
There will be two ATM machines at the 2017 fair!
Mrs. Glass was a guest speaker and discussed the possibility of DCC being involved in the fair again this year. The Board welcomes them back with open arms.
A motion was made and passed to join the Foraker Group.
The Board will have a work session to revamp forms, sponsor packets and take a look at the current By-Laws.
Next Board Meeting is November 15th @ 6pm at the Bus Barn Conference Room. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Annual Members Meeting was held Tuesday September 27th at City Hall.
We would like to thank all those who came out to vote. The new Board was elected (see the about tab on this website) and heard several great ideas for the upcoming fair. We look forward to implemeting many of these ideas and new events for the 2017 Fair.
