The Deltana Fair Parade Committee would like to invite you to enter and participate in the Annual Deltana Fair Parade. The Parade Theme is “Pickin n Grinnin”. Entries will be divided into 9 categories plus Best Use of Theme and Sweepstakes (best overall). First place will be judged from each category. Each equestrian entry is required to provide a ‘pooper-scooper’ to keep the parade route clean for those entries which follow. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The parade starts Saturday, July 30, at 11am.
Each entry will check in at the Delta Community Center on Deborah Street.
Check-in time is 10am.
If you have any questions, please call the Deltana Fair Office at 895-FAIR (895-3247). There is a $5.00 entry fee for non-profit organizations or individuals and $10.00 entry fee for commercial organizations to help defray parade expenses. Parade Entry Form must be turned in with accompanying entry fee (postmarked) by Friday, July 22, 2011, to compete for a trophy. Trophies will be awarded on the large stage at the Deltana Fairgrounds at approximately 12:30 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2011.
